This is the first pool announcement for the Region IV Boys ODP Program.  This pool list is a live pool list and will be updated on June 15, August 15, and 15 November of 2013.  The RIV Boys Pools will be live pools that will serve as the basis for selections to RIV Boys ODP events/Inter-Regional teams.  

 *Region IV BODP Pools represent players identified at one or more of the following events: RIV ODP Championships, RIV ODP Sub-Regional Events, RIV ODP Region Camp, or identified via USYS Region IV BODP staff and/or U.S. Soccer National Staff.

 Information Update Region IV Boys and Camp

Region IV Boys ODP Camp Update
Region IV will be hosting the Boys ODP Camp at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon June 27th -July 17th. Camp will run for the 2000s June 27th –July 3rd, for the 1999s and 1998s July 4th – 10th, and for the 1997s, 1996s and 1995s who will graduate in 2014 July 11th – 17th. Cost of the camp is $525 and covers all costs except for travel. 
All players who participated in 2013 RIV Championships were invited and guaranteed a spot if the they RSVP'ed by Feb 1 (96 and 97) and Feb 12 (1998,1999,2000). After that the RIV staff will then select players to be invited into camp. Allowances have been built in for states that did not send teams to Las Vegas, i.e. Hawaii, Wyoming, Montana etc. Other opportunities to be seen by the Boys ODP staff are the Sub Regional events held throughout the spring and early summer (Mountain State Friendlies, Timbers Friendship Cup, Hawaii ODP Trials etc).
All invites will come from the Boys ODP Head Coach for the initial notification. The RIV Boys ODP Camp is focused on development, college exposure, and will serve as the last formal identification opportunity for the Inter-Regional selection. The Camp will be a "Scramble Camp." You will be put together in teams regardless of which State Association you belong to. You will have the chance to work with a Regional ODP Camp Staff that will be comprised primarily of college coaches. The BODP pools will be live pools and will be updated on March 1 (All age groups), July 1 (2000 only), July 10 (1999, 1998), July 17 (1997,1996) and the final pool announcement will be 1 Nov.
